A truly memorable medieval wedding.Venue ~ Private Marquee. |

For those Brides who are looking for a truly historical wedding, we can provide all the ideas you will need. This medieval gown is made in silk crepe and features a girdle of gold silk damask. The simplicity of the line was emphasized by the natural bridal flowers. We incorporated thistles, greenery, myrtle, roses and herbs into the hand tied bouquet. The Bride chose to complete the look with a large bridal head wreath made of the same flowers and foliage. |

The Brides make up was kept natural, enhancing her own colouring rather than creating a different look for the Wedding day. |

As this was a medieval wedding the marquee was decorated with this era in mind. Flaming torches lead to the marquee entrance and a mature willow tree was incorporated into the marquee and hung with lanterns. These pole tops were designed to incorporate the Brides chosen flowers, and we added pods and berries, grasses, corn and scarlet passion flower trails to these. |
|
Both poles were decorated to give an opulent look to the marquee. Ivy was woven around the sides of the marquee and over the door ways. |

Flowers and herbs were strewed over the general guest tables to give the feel of a medieval banquet and the buffet table arrangement, above, was designed to match both the pole tops and the Bridal bouquet. |
