Spring 2001.
In addition to catwalk photographs taken at the spring bridal exhibitions;
for our Spring 2001 photo shoot, we took the team to Landguard Manor. Shanklin,
Isle ofWight.
The 2001 Collection.
|
 Above: This
photo taken in the ballroom shows clearly the long elegant line of this gown,
and the way that the crepe flows around the body to give a simple, elegant
shape. The tiara is from a selection by Richard Designs.
|
 Above: Claire
wears AElenor, one of the Elizabeth Smith gowns in this collection whose style
was influenced by the paintings of the Pre-Raphelite Brother Hood. This arts
and crafts movement made popular the Gothic style, and emphasized in painting
and architecture an elegance looking backwards to the age of chivalry. This
gown was created from a heavy crepe silk in ivory, and the veil is of silk
chiffon.

Above & Above left: Michelle wears a timeless, full skirted princess
line gown in duchess satin. This gown forms part of our new collection of off
the peg gowns. Tracy is shown here in a beaded, peach chiffon
bridesmaid/evening gown. This gown has a very fitted shape with a 'fishtail'
train to the reverse.
Left: Michelle again, looking relaxed and lovely in a two piece gown
embroidered with silver leaves and pearl beaded daisies. The embroidery extends
down the reverse of the skirt and is enhanced with small rhinestones. The tiara
is of Austrian crystal and is from a selection by Richard Designs. Artificial
flower posy by E.S.Bridal.
|
 Above: A
wider view of the photo above shows the fullness of the skirt and the opulent
look of the Italian satin from which this gown is made.
|
 Above:
Using architecture available in the entrance hall of Landguard Manor allowed us
to show you this sumptious and detailed French lace on organza and satin sheath
dress, with detachable organza overlaid train. The corded lace extends down the
bodice and body of the gown and is picked up on the overlaid train and around
its edges. The colour of this gown is not quite ivory and not quite orchid.
This is a most unusual and stunning gown and is guaranteed to get you noticed!
Tracy shows a silver beaded chiffon and mayfair satin bridesmaid/ evening gown
in lavender.

Looking demure in burgundy velvet. Simple and elegant. Bridesmaid's wear which
is never out of place anywhere! In the photo below; Claire and Tracy take five.

Right: Laura, in a show stopping organza and lace, very full skirted and basque
waisted ball gown style. Covered in intricate applique ,sequins and crystals,
the gown here is shown in white but is also available in ivory. The photo taken
in the colonnaded door way shows the amount of detail on the cathedral length
train.

 Laura
and Michelle captured here in a shot taken from the balcony in the hallway.
Laura wears 'Elizabeth', a strapless copper damask bodice, and ivory mayfair
satin 'A' line skirt constructed as a one piece by Richard Designs. Michelle
shows a duchess satin square necked bodice and chiffon 'A' line skirt. One of
the new range of bridesmaid's gowns by Peaches Bridalwear for E.S.Bridal.

Spring Bridal
Exhibition 21st January 2001.

Paula wearing
the AElenor gown for our cat-walk show. You will see how the church length
train flows beautifully when she walks.
|
Michelle
wearing the same duchess satin gown here that she modeled at the Landguard
Manor shoot.

Here
is 'Katherine', the second of the gowns from the Elizabeth Smith couture spring
collection. Constructed from 'Misty' dupion silk and georgette in a
Pre-Raphelite style, this gown features a double skirt and covered channel
boning to the bodice. This gown is laced at the back and features minimal
crystal beading to highlight sleeve ends, the lacing at the back and the centre
front neckline.

Right: Michelle modeling the 'Zoe' gown.
|
The photo here is of the lovely 'Zoe'
gown by Peaches Bridalwear for E.S.Bridal, taken at the spring bridal
exhibition at Crawley. This gown is constructed from duchess satin and soft
tulle, in ivory. The bodice is spattered with pearls and crystals around the
neckline and these extend all over the tulle skirt, so that when the gown is
worn, the effect is of a shimmer of tiny lights. Guaranteed to receive an aah
when anyone sees it.

 Paula looks
stunning in 'Helena' a Thi silk, draped, Edwardian gown in ivory by Peaches
Bridalwear for E.S.Bridal. The neckline is emphasized by silver and crystal
beading.

made in antique gold damask and ivory Thi silk.

 Sue, showing a
simple Italian satin, princess line Bridal gown under, and the Elizabeth Smith
opera coat 'Tamsin' in ivory embroidered georgette over. This coat is both
light and easy to wear. This particular style features a roll collar and

silk.
