Our Spring 1999 photo shoot included our "Landmark Gown" for that season..... a stunning Black & White Dior style "Riding Habit", in antique white silk.Bridesmaids/evening gown is in french moss crepe and chiffon. The style is elegant and understated. This is still our most popular adult gown. (above & above right)The collection also included a matte duchess satin embroidered bridal gown with a crinoline underskirt.Bridesmaids gown is a princess line in aqua duchess satin and chiffon, and is still available. (right) |

Spring and Autumn 1997. Location: Appley Manor Hotel, Appley, Ryde.The Spring 1997 photo shoot saw the launch of several new gown styles. We had begun to receive an increase in historical gown enquiries. This prompted the development of an historical collection within E.S.Bridal.The "Jane Austin" style was our landmark gown for the spring shows. (below left, & below right) |

A modern take on an 18th C gown in oyster patterned damask with gold and antique ivory hand made lace ruffles to sleeves and lower bodice. |
A 19th C gown style of Indian muslin both plain and patterned. Wide 'burther' to neckline and underneath a reconstructed 'original' petticoat for this era. Flounces to reverse of skirt held in place by small handmade roses. |
