Spring 2006 Gown Shows.
The Shanklin Conservative Club. Regent Street. Shanklin. I.o.W
Above & Right:- Debbie wears 'Anouska' by Augusta Jones. This is their best selling gown. Here shown in bright ivory Taffeta. It is a strapless draped gown that has waterlilies to the waist and train. Inside there is a fully boned, inner bodice which laces up and holds the gown perfectly in place. The veil is a round modern veil by Richard designs. The flowers from Elizabeth Smith Floral design are Stargazer lilies, Cymbidium orchids and Gypsophila. Simple but stunning!
Right:- Marie wears stunning one piece gown by Panache Bridal in Champagne satin and stretch lace. The detail on the skirt at the back is not shown here but is well worth seeing for yourself. The bodice is covered with beadwork and crystals.
Below Left:- Another frothy confection by Panache Bridal. Kate wears a one piece gown in ivory and coffee taffeta. A very directional and unusual gown. Flowers by Elizabeth Smith Floral design.
Below Right:- Emma wears 'Aurora' from Nicola Ann Bridal wear. A silk satin draped gown with bolero jacket in coffee and gold. The motifs are optional and so is the jacket. This gown is made to an exceptionally high standard here in the UK.
Above:- A close up of the teardrop bouquet that caught everyones imagination. So simple yet so effective.
Above:- a shot to show the back of the 'Aurora' gown.
Left & Below Left:- Marie wears a silk satin one piece asymmetric gown again by Nicola Anne Bridal Wear. The drape is held by an Art - Deco diamantee buckle. This gown is so timeless and classic. It lends distinction to the wearer and will look as good in 10 or 20 years as it does now. Here shown in ivory. In the picture below Marie carries a Bridal Pommander as a stylish alternative to the posy or teardrop bouquet which is so often seen.
Below Left:- Nikkie, (new model), wears 'Loveday' a silk draped and gathered gown from Nicola Ann. In silk and pleated organza with tiny sequined lace detail to the waist. Feminine and elegant.
Below Right:- Jane wears 'Jewell' by Nicola Ann, our version here shown in cappuccino silk but available in whatever your colour choice. A best seller, this gown has cut ,feel and style. A real winner. It also bustles up at the back and is laced up to give an antique feel to a modern gown. The drape across the waist is covered with tiny diamantes and held with hand made roses.
