'For a prospective Bride, there's nothing like looking at pictures of
someone else's wedding for inspiration. It's not just what she wore or whether
the groom looked silly in his morning suit, it's all the little details which
are so interesting to the modern bride and groom'.
Carole Hamilton~ Editor, Bride & Groom Magazine.
Gowns featured
were designed and made by Elizabeth Smith Gowns, along also with tiaras,
headpieces and some of the flowers shown.

Venue~ Hasley Manor, Isle of Wight.

 Claire's arrival
at Hasley Manor, in a stretched limo....

Claire, who is also one of our
team here at Elizabeth Smith Bridal, chose to wear a couture gown from
E.S.Bridal made from her own design. As her request was for simplicity and
elegance, the finished gown emphasized the cut , fit and quality of the
materials used rather than lots of decoration. She requested that a running
theme throughout the wedding should be daisy's and the colour silver. We
correspondingly chose ivory gerberas, september flower and marguerites as focus
flowers and teamed them with palm leaves, eucalyptus, wax flower and silver
yucca leaves for a modern ,clean cut look . A hand made silver tiara provided
the finishing touch .This ivory and silver theme was carried through to the
Bridesmaids gowns, flowers and tiaras and the Marriage room and reception
venue.

Shown here below, is the
arrangement made for the marriage room which was then moved to the reception
venue and used as the top table piece. It features all of the flowers requested
by the Bride plus a few pieces added by ourselves. .

Note the unusual fresh
daisy chain along the front of the top table.

Karen and Vicky wearing modern
and elegant Bridesmaids gowns for E.S.Bridal by Peaches Bridal gowns, in mist
coloured silk dupion. Sliver tiara's and new style bouquets of ivory gerberas
and palm leaves complete the look.

A traditional photo of all
of the principal men. The simplicity of the evening suits and bow ties are
complemented by elegant, single, ivory gerbera button holes. Note behind the
wedding group, the over -arch door arrangement which brings together the Brides
chosen theme and colours. This type of reception decor also provides a stunning
back drop for any photos taken outside.

A chance to show that the back of a bridal gown is as important as
the front. The Brides choice of a crepe silk material was ideal for this type
of structured but flowing gown. This photo also shows the floor length silk
tulle veil and the Bride's modern bouquet.

|
 |
Different variety's of fresh
flowers's in ivory and white were scattered onto the guest tables to provide a
fresh, clean and light look to the reception.

Congratulations!
Claire and Josh as man and wife. Behind them can just be seen the over-arch
arrangement that greeted the guests as they went in, and the Bride and Groom as
they came out. Designed in the same choice of flowers as before but with the
addition of sea holly to emphasise the silver theme.
