•  Thursday 21st Febuary 2013 --- Spring Bridal Evening, Elizabeth Smith, 65 Union St, Ryde, IoW. Catwalk & Display. { 6pm till 9pm } Note:- This is the only Elizabeth Smith catwalk planned for the Spring.

Elizabeth Smith Bridal turned 'MOD' for the Bank Holiday weekend. In support of the Island hosting the worlds largest annual 'Scooter Rally', Beth and her team turned the Ryde shop windows over to a retro mod look for the weekend.

Also displaying some of her 'retro style' t-length designs.

Attracting to eye of the event organisers..... the shop had had a 'celeb' visitor.......

Actor Gary Shail 'spider' in the cult film Quadraphenia with Elizabeth Smith. Part of the Scooter MOD weekend here on the Isle of Wight.

Remember........... Elizabeth Smith Is now in New Larger Bridal Shop. 65 Union Street, Ryde, IoW. It is situated 100 yards from seafront in lower Union Street, a couple of minutes walk from the Esplanade train, bus and ferry terminals. With over 200 gowns from 8 designers, and a wide range of bridal Jewellery and accessories, a visit to our new shop in Union street, Ryde is a must for Isle of Wight and South Coast Brides. We also have a unique interior daylight seating area lit by a large skylight, where the Bride and bridal party can view in natural light. Well worth the trip, as the word on the street is...... Beth's Ryde shop has one of the largest and best selections of gowns and accessories in the South of England. (That's not our words..... It's what we are repeatedly told by our loverly Brides who are serious about savy shopping for their big day!!!) Many Gowns are exclusive to Beth, and won't be seen in any other shops. The quality and standard of finish is excellent across all the ranges. Our seamstresses's ensure that every gown fits beautifully. So.... Have a girls day out here on the Island. (Ryde has some great shops, wine bars and cafes..... including Liz Earl cosmetics! All are within a short walk from the ferry and hovercraft. So arrainge a visit. We know You will want to try dresses on. And Beth or Jess see every Bride, giving you personal help with the Gowns..... so phone to check we have fitting room spaces available.

Warning to Brides over Internet Gown Purchases.

We've been saying it for a long time. Our team sees a steady flow of brides who have stories of internet gown hell. Brides wanting us to alter gowns that don't fit (we never alter someone else's gown), last minuet looking when the gown hasn't arrived or was so unlike the picture.. the bride won't wear it.

Leading magazine editors and dedicated web site have joined UK shops and, bridal message boards in spreading the word about the potential risks of internet purchases, especially those from outside the UK.

As we have always said, there is nothing like that special personal service of our team. And if you are on a realy tight budget, we always ask if we have an sample gowns on the discount rail!
